Two Tours - Limit 12 Guests Per Tour


Tours begin at 10:00am and 11:00am and last about one hour, after which guests can enjoy tea in the garden at picnic tables. In the event of inclement weather, tea will be served inside the house. Restrooms are available on the second floor of the home.


German immigrant John Wister built this house in 1744 as a family country home outside of Philadelphia. The property included a farm, gardens, and orchards with fruit trees to supplement John’s wine importing business.
